"Waiting" tells us the story of two strangers, Shiv and Tara, who met on an unlikely place (hospital waiting room). Shiv is an elderly psychology professor and visit hospital daily to look after his comatose wife. While Tara is an advertising agent and arrives in the hospital after hearing the news of her husbands accident. The two bond over their similar situations. Tara stay a hotel near the hospital.
Shiv is a more experienced and wiser person, and Tara finds strength in him. Despite having quite different personalities, the two begin to spend much of their free time together as they coping with same type of grief. Shiv takes Tara to the temple, and Tara takes him for shopping.
Shiv used to visits Tara at the hotel, and she shares her disappointment with her friends and followers, how they have forgot her, and abandoned her. Shiv describes the five stages of grief to her. Which are very realistic and I start watching the movie just by watching the scene as reel.
